Juliet has over 20 years experience in both public and private
sector business development roles. In this time she has
undertaken a wide range of international and local market research
projects across a range of industries.
While with Trade New Zealand (now New Zealand Trade and
Enterprise), Juliet worked with a wide range of exporters. This
role included a secondment to Vancouver where she undertook a
number of market research projects on behalf of clients targeting
the demanding North American market.
Juliet later worked with emerging exporters The Pacific Island
Trade and Investment Commission, helping them to identify
opportunities in the New Zealand market. This work involved
extensive travel around the Pacific region as well as arranging
promotional activities such as trade events, seminars and
advertising campaigns
Juliet's private sector experience includes a business
development role in the food and beverage sector, working as a
sales agent on behalf of local and international fruit and
vegetable processors.
When not working with exporters or looking after her two
boys, Juliet enjoys the outdoors and spending as much time as
she can out near Piha close to the family home.
