Who can participate or apply?

To attend the Foundation Level trainingyour business must:

• Be trading* - as a business or as a sole trader / freelancer
• Be operating for profit. Charitable Trusts are unfortunately not eligible.
• Be the owner, operator or manager within the small to medium enterprise
• Employ less than 50 full-time staff (Full time = 30 hours or more per week)

*With the exception of the BIZ Start and Investment Ready workshops.

What is the cost?

The Enterprise Training Programme is fully funded by the Government. Your only investment is your time, effort and commitment.

How does it work?

1. Business Assessment
   Once you have completed a registration form you will begin the Enterprise Training Programme with an online assessment questionnaire. This will take 15-20min to complete and only has to be done once. A WHK Business Growth advisor will then be in touch to ensure all your needs have been assessed and finally finalise your enrolement onto the workshops. 
    
2. Workshops
   We offer one of the largest selections of business training topics, including: 
• Business planning
• Sales and marketing
• Accounting, finance and tax
• Leadership and human resource management
• Raising capital
• Business systems
• Exporting and more 
  
3. Coaching 
   After attending a workshop you have the option of booking a one-on-one coaching session to provide advice and guidance on transferring the skills you have learned from the workshops into your business or workplace.
